Simile

A simile is a comparison using like or as.  For example, "it is as hot as a firecracker outside!" or "that boy is smart like a fox."

  3. I like those comparisons, don't you?
Does it paint a picture in your head?
What do you see when someone says "quiet as a mouse" or "like an old gum wrapper"?
Does the simile make you feel something?

  4. I like the comparison. It makes me see garbage in a trash can. It makes me feel sad for Ralph.
